Eclipse 3.3 (M7) and WTP not working [message #192330] Thu, 10 May 2007 03:22 Go to next message

Hello,

I've installed the latest eclipse milestone of 3.3 (M7) and used the Europa
Discovery Site to load the WTP plugins. When I finished tried to set up a
new server runtime, I used the Download additional server adapters link and
added geronimo and restarted eclipse.

Here are the issues, I looked back in the installed Server Runtime
Environments list and it is empty. I go to add a new project and there are
no J2EE project nor web project listed. There are no WTP contributed
prespectives.

Is WTP and M7 not a working combination?

I've been reading about the new features in both M7 and WTP and would like
to check them out.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

After downloading all required plugins from:
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/
I'm seeing WTP contributions.

Apparently the discovery site does not have all needed prerequisites
defined.
