I'm sure that I am not the only one with web development that has been
looking for the option to do an "upload on save" similar to the feature
that Dreamweaver has. Is there something that works well for this? I
can't seem to find a resource for any plugin that has similar
functionality. Am I missing something? I just need to copy from the
workspace location to an exterior directory.

Am I alone? would that be that hard of a plugin? Or am I missing a
resource that explains how to do this?

I have seen this article:
http://www.boyzoid.com/blog/index.cfm/2007/3/22/Synching-a-C FEclipse-Project-to-a-remote-server-via-FTP

This would be a limited working model, but I don't know how to do it
with a local directory (A mapped drive to the server)... I've only seen
ftp. What features would need to be installed to do synchronization for
a local directory?

Help me get rid of Dreamweaver!

Thanks for helping the noob!
