Editing Object-Properties via Diagramm Partitionung possible ? [message #190925] Wed, 04 June 2008 08:20

Hi !

I want to use the concept of diagram partitioning to edit the properties
of an object. My idea is to double click on an object in my diagram,
the new diagram editor opens and I select (eg. via mouseclick) a specified
element of the opened diagramm. Through this action the properties of
the first diagramm object should be edited.

In this concrete case the goal is to assign a certain semantic concept
to an object. I have two editors creating instances of two different
metamodells.
One of them is the editor for semantic concepts, and I need the objects of
the
other editor to be assinged to an semantic concept.

Any comment is appreciated. I hope I made myself clear, since I'm new to
the
topic GMF and I'm just trying to learn how to use it.

Thanks in advance,
Tim
