Grid without ScalableFreeformRootEditPart [message #190640] Fri, 05 August 2005 09:25 Go to next message

Hi there!

I would like to use the grid for my editor. I looked at the LogicExample and
now snap to grid works well already.

Unfortunately the grid itself isn't visible because I use
ScalableRootEditPart. Is there a way to make it visible without switching to

ScalableFreeformRootEditPart.

Thanks.

Roger

It should still be visible. Check out what the size of the grid layer.
Only if it's 0,0 would it be a problem. You're probably doing something
else wrong. Maybe using an opaque layer or not setting all the necessary
properties for painting the grid. Several people have had this problem and
then found what they were doing wrong. Search on the newsgroup.

You were right. I used an opaque layer.
My fault!

Thank you very much!
