WebSphere Integration and Performance [message #187739] Wed, 07 February 2007 13:19
Eclipse UserFriend
Our company has recently migrated from Rational Application Developer 6 and WAS
6.0 to Eclipse and WTP with WAS 6.0. One of the most common complaints is the
need to republish after every modification to the webapp (JSPs, Servlets, HTML
pages, etc), particularly because the performance of WebSphere is so slow
[1][2]. Are there any plans to improve integration or performance of these
components? If not, are there any recommendations to help us optimize
performance through some type of configuration? Automatic publishing helps, but
is still not enough to counter the poor performance.
