Display of {redefines} in composition member end [message #1168803] Sun, 03 November 2013 10:33 Go to next message

In some examples of SYSMOD I have seen that a redefinition of a property is displayed at the member end of a composition. I have not found the possibility to do the same in Papyrus, but I have found the means to register the redefined property.

Perhaps this is supposed to be tool-dependent, or is it something that should be possible?

Select the property on the diagram, select the "appearance" tab, and select "modifiers" in the "label customization" section.

See the attached screenshot for an example (both on the association end, and as a part of the property description in the property compartment)

Hi Klaus!

Ok, Now I understand how to do it, at least in a class diagram. However does none of the associations available (as far as I can see at least) in a SysML block diagram NOT give the possibility to change label customization.

Bug or feature?

Any workaround suggestions?

Regards,
Tomas

A bug IMO (or at least a _missing_ feature Smile. Please submit it to the papyrus bugzilla.

It seems like it is possible to display the {Redefines} on the properties of the property compartment, so you could visualise it there (see attached screenshot)
