Hello,
I'm using CDT 3.2 and GDB 6.3 and would like to know, how to suspend a
(multithreaded) program out of an endless loop? In debugging mode there
is a suspend button, but I never succeeded to make it work.
My software sometimes catches all CPU load and hangs, but I have no
idea, where and why. If I could stop it and go into stepping mode this
would be easy to resolve, but I'm unable to do this. Any hints, how to
debug such a problem?
Thanks,
Ed

Ah, and it's not working? Have you tried with more recent versions of GDB?
I've tested with CDT 3.2 and GDB 6.4 to no avail. Even started looking at
the CDT debugger code to see if there is something obvious.
