Hello,

I am about to address the issue of printing in my GEF app. My goals are
these:

1. optionally show an outline of the printable page(s) on top of the
diagram. With this I mean a grid-like display that shows how a large
diagram will be printed across pages.

2. allow the user to zoom the diagram into and out of the page size, to
increase/reduce the number of pages needed to print a diagram.

3. provide an option to automatically adjust the layout in a diagram
such that certain figures dont cross page boundaries.

Can this be achieved with GEF/Eclipse? On what platforms (I understand
Linux/GTK currently does not print at all:-().
So far I have not found much documentation on the topic of printing. I
would be thankful for hints to anything useful to tackle the above tasks.

thanks,
chris
