Anti aliasing [message #176971] Tue, 12 April 2005 17:33 Go to next message

I am aware that as of M6, anti-aliasing support has been included in SWT
(see GC.setAntialias() and GC.setTextAntialias() and bug 7075). How do I
go about utlising this in GEF? It is not clear to me the relationship
between GEF figures and GC?

Well, it's not actually in M6, so no one can use it. Figures paint on a
wrapped GC. That wrapper will expose this GC function.

Fair enough. Is this something we can expect for M7?

Wouldn't the SWT newsgroup be a better place to ask what the SWT people
plan on getting into M7?

Guy,

As I said in the original question: SWT now has anti-aliasing support as
of M6, it seems that GEF needs to provide some API over and above this.
My question is which release of GEF is this API is scheduled for?

When I said that antialiasing is not in M6, I am referring to SWT's M6.
