Kepler UI Bug After Linux Upgrade [message #1144276] Fri, 18 October 2013 15:26 Go to next message

Hello everybody,

Yesterday I upgraded my Ubuntu installation to 13.10 and found that upon entering Kepler none of the drop down menus (File, Edit, Refactor, etc.) are functional. I can use keyboard shortcuts to get to them, but even then most of the options are missing.

I understand that this is probably a function of my OS upgrade, but this is only happening with Eclipse so I figured I'd come here to see if anyone else has dealt with this problem or a similar one in the past.

I'd like to avoid purging/reinstalling because I've customized the editor a fair amount... but if I have to so be it.

Any luck? Or did you purge?
