Hello,
I have a RCP application build with "Eclipse for RCP and RAP Developers 2.0.1.20130919-0803", which includes "Eclipse Platform 4.3.1.M20130911-1000" and "EPP RCP/RAP Feature 2.0.1.20130919-0803".
I want to use my own splash. To start with, I used "Interactive" splash in my "*.product" splash.
When I synchronize "*.product" with "plugin.xml", an extension on "org.eclipse.ui.splashHandlers" is added, with two attributes : "splashHandler" and "splashHandlerProductBinding".
When I launch my application via "*.product" file, the splash is display with the authentication form.
Now, in my "*.product" file, I set splash template to "None" to use my own splash. When I synchronize "*.product" with "plugin.xml", the attribut "splashHandlerProductBinding" is automatically deleted and my splash isn't displayed when I start my application.
Is it essential to have a defined splash template to use a customized splash ?
