Hello,
I am using Eclipse on W2k, with the Sun JDK 1.4.1_02, most off the things
work fantastic; but I am unable to debug a local application.
When I try to go to (Debug > Debug As > Java Application) the perspective is
change to the Debug prespective and appears to be starting the debugging
process, afterwards it shows a dialog box with the message "Can not connect
to VM" and in the Console the messages "Unrecognized option: -Xdebug"
"Could not create the Java virtual machine." are printed.
I will appreciate any help,
regards,
Oscar Forero.

Check the JRE you are using to debug your application. Are you sure
this is a JDK1.4.1?
-Xdebug is a known option for the JVM 1.4.1.
