Hello,
I get a strange error when I try to create the .gmfgen from my .gmfmap: The creation aborts with the message "error while creating generator model" without any further explanation (no items in the Problems or Error Log view of Eclipse). The validation of .gmfmap did not produce any errors.
I compiled a minimal sample that produces this error (attachment contains the models): Right-click on "sample.gmfmap" and select "Create generator model ..." from context menu. You do not have to generate any code to reproduce the error.
It would be great if someone knew a solution to this, because it keeps me from proceeding with my current GMF project ...

When you clear the "Target Feature" property of the Link Mapping in .gmfmap (no need to delete the Link Mapping), then the error goes away and the .gmfgen is generated normally.
But the target feature of the Link Mapping cannot be the actual reason of the error ...

Did you make changes to the ecore model? In this case you should reload
your genmodel. Otherwise there may be strange errors.
