Hi.

I'am using the Visual Editor for the first time now.
I tried to create a VisualClass and recieved this message:

Error:
"IWAV0138E Remote VM terminated too soon. See LoggingUtil.log for trace of
output. For VM "Project(Bitrechner)-VM for DisksizePanel.java"."

after a short time I get another message:

Visual Editor for Java Error
"Error to set new file into Editor

Reason:
IWAV0067E No Standard Bean Type Proxy Factory has been set."

Thanx for any help.

Simon

How did you install VE? What version of Eclipse are you using?

VE's stable build only supports Eclipse 2.1.2 and you have to
download/install it through the files on the download page, not through CVS.

If you want to test the Eclipse 3.x support, I've been blogging about my
experiences with it in my personal blog at
http://www.coconut-palm-software.com. There are detailed instructions
there describing how to get VE up and running in 3.0M5.

Dave

Also, take a look in the .metadata/.log file. There should be some more
messages from the remote vm that would indicate why it failed. Append
them here.
