Property change doesn't cause file change [message #173692] Fri, 22 February 2008 13:52 Go to next message

Hi,

Maybe this has been asked before, but I couln't find a reference....

When I change one of the properties of an object in my GMFL generated
editor,
that change isn't noticed in the sense that the file is not marked as
changed:
the Save menu entry remains grayed out.
The only way so force a change is by moving anentry in the graphical frame.

Is there a way to overrule this? changes get lost this way, which is
annoying for the end-user.

No idea if this is relevant, but I have set "same file for diagram and
model" to true in my gmfgen model.

Thanks in advance
RobW

Hi again,

I still found no solution.....

I've looked at
http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.modeling.gmf/m sg00329.html
which proposes a solution in the generated CustomModificationListener in
XXXDocumentProvider.

No such method is available however in my case. I only found
ResourceSetModificationListener, and changing that didn't help.

Any idea anyone?
Help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Rob W.
