Kepler breakpoints nor working [message #1124760] Thu, 03 October 2013 18:02 Go to next message

Hi all,

I updated to Kepler yesterday, but unfortunately after updating breakpoints did not break the code when debugging. I have of course:

* checked disable all breakpoints button
* cleaned all projects and rebuild them
* disabled and re-enabled line numbers and the other options for debugging in pref.

Any suggestions?

I am using CentOS 6.3
java 6 update 41

Cheers,
Jesper

Jesper,

Obviously it works well for most of us including me, so there must be
something specific in your case why it wouldn't. Does this same issue
appear for newly created breakpoint no matter where you put them, e.g.,
even those in JDK source code?

When you say updated, do you mean you updated your existing installation
as opposed to creating a new installation with a new download? I
personally avoid ever doing the former. Better to start with something
clean, though I suppose the former ought to work too...
