This function is implemented at least for the java editor. You should set up
the location of your javadoc in:
Windows-->Preferences-->Java->Installed JREs.
The default is a link into the internet.
This is also the place to attach the sources of the java runtime for
debuggin purposes.

Usually you get the javadoc for every function and class if you hover over
such an item in the java editor.

I figured out how to view the context sensitive help.

1 step 1: download the latest eclipse 3.2.

2. If you are behind firewall, set up the proxy sever.

goto windows->preferences->install/update->PproxySettings.

Enable the proxy by typing in proxy server and port.

Save the settings.


Now when you hover the mouse over JRE functions you should see the help.
