Could not uniquely map the type bug still not fixed [message #170967] Thu, 14 September 2006 09:46

Hi,

I have updated to the new version of eclipse 3.2 and have been hoping that
a bug was fixed but seems not to the be. The bug is that in my web project
I have a ".jar" folder which contains many of my objects. When I perform a
search by type i.e. CTRL SHIFT T, the object/class that I am searching for
is found but I receive an error message when trying to open the
Object/class. The error is:

"Could not uniquely map the type name to a type. Path is ……."

I also cannot search for references of methods that an object contains.

Am I maybe doing something wrong as I thought it was fixed?

This is a very useful feature

Any help,

Thanks Ryan
