Welcome to the AMP newgroup. I'm really excited about our new home. The
ABM technology we've been developing fits in very well with the overall
Eclipse approach. The Eclipse technology is unique but the community
approach is an even larger draw for us. Open Development is just as
important as Open Source!
Please take a look at the proposal:
http://eclipse.org/proposals/amp
And then share your comments, ideas and questions. In addition to
discussion of AMP proper, general discussion of ABM and Agent
approaches and toolkits is welcome. Note that this is a public newgroup
-- please feel free to send me a private email for other issues.
You can check out some of the current tools proposed for AMF at:
http://metaabm.org
Please note that the current builds on that site are well out of date.
I'll have a new build up soon, but in any case metaabm is really easy
to build. Just grab the projects and import them into your workspace.
(The repast targets haven't been recently tested.)

The only dependency outside of Eclipse is oAW -- we'll be transitioning
the over to GMT. Update site:
