Eclipse and Maven experts,

I wanted to make you aware of the discussions we are currently having
with respect to improving the Eclipse Platform Resource model (including
project structure) for the future major release, E4. Please have a look at

I'm assume that enhancing the notion of an Eclipse Project could be
extremely relevant for a good integration of Maven, so I'd love to have
some involvement of people with Maven background there. I'm sure that
you could give some very valuable insight about what a "project" should
mean.
