Hi everyone,

I'm using Eclipse Kepler and still don't need Egit, but unfortunately it's not possible to uninstall it from Eclipse. Everytime I run now a new Eclipse instance, the console give me this messages:

!MESSAGE Warning: EGit couldn't detect the installation path "gitPrefix" of native Git.
....
!MESSAGE Warning: The environment variable HOME is not set.
.....

So I turned the log warnings off, but they still appear, which is really annoying. What else can I do?

Cheers,
Phil

If you uncheck "Git prefix warning (Windows typically)" in
"Preferences > Team > Git > Confirmations and Warnings"
the warning shouldn't be logged anymore.
