can anyone help me? this is my first time using eclipse and i am just learning to program. I tried to run my first program but an error saying "selection cannot be launched. there are no recent launches" . Can anyone walk me through what to do to fix this. Thank you very much

Without knowing what kind of program you're writing, I can only say that you probably need to create a specific kind of project using the correct New Project wizard and run your source from within that.

Nick,

What language are you using? If it's Java, try using the context menu
when you've selected the main method of some Java class.

Nick, the "context" menu is what you get when you right-click on
something. I say this just in case it's unclear to you.
