I have recently noticed that eclipse has a project available for a
Visual Editor project. Is this supposed to be a drag and drop GUI
development plug in similar to .NET??

So I have downloaded the Visual Editor through the Software update in
Eclipse 3.2 but I cant figure out how to open up the Visual Editor or
how to interface with it. Can anyone help me out or point me to a
tutorial on the VE?

-Thanks

Start the wizard with
File > New > Visual Class
or, if that's not in the list, use
File > New > Other... > Java > Visual Class
Choose the desired entry in the wizard's Style list (Swing/AWT/SWT/RCP &
application/frame/shell/etc.).
