Hi,
I'm using eclipse 3.2 M5 and WTP 1.5 M5.
When I externally update the web.xml (add a filter and a filter-mapping),
the Deployment Descriptor in the J2EE Project explorer is not refreshed. Is
this a bug?

If you externally update it, then you have to trigger the refresh, somehow, which should
cause a resource changed event, and that should cause all else to come into synch. I believe.
So, I'd guess bug that you might want to open.
