Keybindings are corrupted [message #1090818] Tue, 20 August 2013 13:30 Go to next message

Hi,

This isn't the first time I've run into this problem. I upgraded to Kepler last week, and everything seemed fine. However today when I loaded Eclipse and begin to work, I noticed my keybindings were no longer working. They have somehow been set to the Emacs keybindings and I cannot reset them to default. I've already tried the obvious of going to Window | Preferences | General | Keys and setting the scheme to Default. I've also already clicked the Restore Defaults button on that page.

None of these things are fixing the problem and my keyboard commands are all messed up. Is there some other way to force Eclipse to drop these unneeded Emacs keybindings so I can get back to work?

Thanks, Derek

Oh, I'm running on Ubuntu 12.04.
