Hi,
would you please explain the concepts of
1. Major alignment
2. Minor alignment
3. Major spacing
4. Minor spacing
and what's the difference between 1 and 2, 3 and 4?
In addition, I am very confused by the 'match minor size'; what is it?

Michael,

There are many good examples in the following plugin from GEF:
org.eclipse.draw2d.examples

I suggest checking out the plugin, then you can see the code and
behavior. For example, there is a FlowLayoutExample.
