problem with callisto and jboss [message #161155] Sun, 16 July 2006 17:46 Go to next message

I have installed the full Jboss4.0.3 and am trying to use it with
Eclipse Callisto. I've added the server but when I try to start it, I
get the following errors

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Files/jboss-4/0/3/bin////lib/endorsed
Exception in thread "main"

I checked the launch configuration and see this in Arguments

-Dprogram.name=run.bat -Djava.endorsed.dirs=C:/Program
Files/jboss-4.0.3/bin/../lib/endorsed -Xms128m -Xmx512m

Why does Eclipse think that the endorsed directory is located where it
does? I put the ejb3 jar files in the %JAVA_HOME%/lib/endorsed
directory but still not good. What am I doing wrong here?

I do not know if this will work, but I have had major problems with some of
my installed software becoming invisible after using Callisto.

Suggest start over with virgin Eclipse, go to Callisto, get everything you
ever want to get, and THEN install Jboss.
