Is there a way to modify the Package Explorer tree in the Plug-in
Development perspective to allow for expandable tree nodes other than java
files? To allow for different user defined objects as expandable tree
nodes? Or am I stuck with the limitations of the JDT in the Package
Explorer?

I don't want to have to write my own tree viewer, as I would lose all of
the built-in functionality of the Package Explorer that goes with the
Package Explorer tree. Thanks.
