Problem with MultiText in Graphiti [message #1076385] Wed, 31 July 2013 05:43 Go to next message

Hello All,

i have a question about how to use MultiText in Graphiti. Here is my situation:

there is a multitext inside a rectangle, sometimes when the text is too long and it can not be showed appropriately. For example, half of the first line and last line will be covered or some characters simply not appeared. so is there any way can fix this problem?

I was thinking maybe i can correct it manually by showing just part of characters of the text and appending ellipsis at the end, but in this way i found that the feature model of the diagram will also be changed, that is actually not what i want.

Any hints will be appreciated!

Regards,

Zhongwen

Zhongwen,

setting the height of the MultiText so that the complete text fits in should
help. Paddings and insets would need to be considered as well. Ellipsis for
MutiTexts is in the wish list
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=336126) but not yet
implemented.
