EMF models & GEF [message #159079] Mon, 22 November 2004 13:55 Go to next message

how difficult would it be to generate EMF.edit and EMF.editor code (for the
commandstacks, contentoutline and propertysheet classes) that uses the GEF
runtime instead of the EMF runtime? seems like most of the changes would be
restricted to the JET templates for code generation.

has anyone done this? is any work being done on it?

regards,

al

There's a plan to move the command stack into platform. Hence, both EMF and
GEF would be using a common command framework.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=37716

Nothing else is planned, as far as I know.
