I just installed WTP (I tried both a piecemeal installation and from the
all-in-one). According to the help, a new server type "Static Web server"
should have been created, and I should be able to select it from within a
static web project. I can't find it. It doesn't show up anywhere in the
server configuration editor. Is this a bug in WTP, an error in the
documentation, or pilot error?
Thanks,

A documentation error I suspect. We sadly don't have a "static web server" adapter with
WTP. This would be for a "pure" HTTP server, such as Apache. You can, however, create a J2EE
server (e.g. for tomcat) and "deploy" your static web apps to that. [we are slowly working on
not having a pure HTTP server to deliver with WST is some future release).
