Where could I find the basic and complete class TextEdit?
In the various referred links, android only shows some sub_pages or references to the above class, for ex. TextEdit.TextFields or TextEdit.SmsMessage.

I was using a TextView object OK, when I nedded to edit it but Eclipse suggeste to change it and use a TextEdit instead. Which unfortunately has a totally different structure and behaviour!

It does not even allow me to append(string/n/r) like TextView does!

What the hell! Where does Android docs hide the full specs of TextEdit?

Excuse and thanks from

Johnny P. Faccini
