Hello frinds,
I tried to setup GCC with eclipse kepler but failed to do so?

but still dont see gcc in my windows-->perfrence

You should install MinGW first. Eclipse should then find the MinGW installation and suggest it as possible toolchain.
See the CDT help first chapter (Before you start).

i tried tht but it failed but here on youtube i see a video where it says to install eclispe frst

i am srry i cant post direct link to the video as i dont have enuf posts

i failed tht method too tht was mentioned in youtube i am using win 7 ..i am so confused.. pls help

i downloaded mingw from here

sourceforge(dot)net/projects/mingw/files/

now pls guide me step by step wht shld i do?

shall i delete all installation and start again?

- install MinGW in default C:\MinGW directory
- start Eclipse
that's it.

i did that still i dont see compiler in eclipse?
shld i install eclipse under C?
C:\Eclipse ? or C:\Program Files\Eclipse ?

Right now i have eclipse installed here C:\Program Files\Eclipse
and MinGW here C:\MinGW
