Hi everybody,

good news for the JBoss 4 users: maintenance build M200601300327 contains a
JBoss 4 serverdefinition. No more workarounds finally !

Best regards

Wolfgang

I don't think so :-(. They do nothing more than the JBoss 3.2.3 serverdefs or my
own one.

I remember I have heard "mid of February" somewhere. But I'm just a WTP user
;-), not involved in the project.

Best regards

Wolfgang

This is good news indeed. I've been trying to get WTP 1.0 to work with
jboss 4.0 using Chris Judd's projst plugin, and haven't been
successfull at using it for anything other than simple starting and
stopping the servers.

A couple of questions. Does anyone know who the committer is? I'm
curious as it seemed to be slightly political in that Eclipse WTP
wouldn't support a new application server (jboss 4.0.x) without a vendor
support. So, is JBoss supporting this? I would check cvs but I
coudn't find much on getting wtp via cvs.

Is there documentation for migrating 0.7 projects to work with 1.0? On
my initial attempt to use 1.0, eclipse didn't seem to convert its files
very nicely. the project oriented files (.classpath, and new .settings?
folder, etc ) seemed to make my project unusable. In our office, we
have most folks using 0.7, and I'm sure a migration to 1.0 won't be
overnight. There's always a couple folks who don't like the cheese
moved. Should a 1.0 project work fine in 0.7 and vice versa?

thanks!

until WTP 1.0.1 is released you could try this JBoss 4 plugin:
