Hey all,
I need to know the steps to creating your own Server Runtime. What
extension points to use, what things to consider, etc. Basically, this
will be the equivalent of what the Tomcat Server Runtime is but for a
specially configured Jetty for Rife development. I found:

http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/community/tutorials/ServerDe finitionExplained/ServerDefinitionExplained.html

and while it helps, I'm sure it isn't that simple and even it doesn't tell
me what extension point to use, etc. So...can someone be so kind to help
me out?

Take care,

Jeremy

The server definition explained doc is targeted for the generic servers
only. But we had a presentation in the last years eclipseCon
named Extend WTP Server Tools for your Application Server that explains the
various extension points in the server framework.
You can download the presentation from
http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/community/presentations.html

Also there will be a tutorial in EclipseCon2006 where facets and servers
will be covered.
