I installed the SWTBOT plugin just the way as tutorial shows. But when I tried to add
org.eclipse.swtbot.eclipse.core
org.eclipse.swtbot.eclipse.finder
org.eclipse.swtbot.junit4_x
org.hamcrest
org.apache.commons.collections
org.junit4
org.apache.log4j
org.eclipse.ui
to the manifest file, it couldn't find it.

I checked with about/installation details. It does show that my eclipse has these plug ins installed though.

When I tried the exact same thing on a fresh new indigo eclipse (the current RCP development eclipse is Juno), it works as expected.

Please help. Screenshots are attached.

Which tutorial?
The only right ways to install stuff in Eclipse are using p2 Install UI
(Help > Install New Software) and family (MarketPlace, discovery).
If you're using a target-platform, did you make sure SWTBot is available
in this target-platform?

I followed the toturial here, http://wiki.eclipse.org/SWTBot/UsersGuide
I made SWTBot plugins available to the target platform, but the manifest file still can't recognize the plugins.

Nevermind. Problem solved. One of the senior engineers corrected the way I added the plugins to the target platform, and it worked.
Thanks a lot.

hi,jajian lei
Did your problem solved? I installed the SWTBot failed through P2,and put plug-in packages to target platform,in IDE installation details list we can see these plugins, but they are not recognized by SWTBot.
Looking forward to your reply, thanks a lot.
