Hi,

I failed to connect to https://git.eclipse.org/r with my committer id and http password (as specified in gerrit > settings > http password. I always get "Unable to login to https://git.eclipse.org/r. Please validate credentials via Task Repositories view."

Anonymous login, however, works. Is there any chance I see more of the error message in some logs somewhere?

For our own installations (Gerrit 2.4 and Gerrit 2.5) login via open id works like a charm. Any ideas which configuration step I may have missed or done wrong?

Hi Marcel,

the Gerrit installation on Eclipse.org was just upgraded to version 2.6 which isn't yet fully supported by Mylyn. We are working on it and hope to add support for 2.6 in an upcoming release:

Hi Steffen,

Today I've tried the Eclipse Gerrit connection and it worked for me after updating my Mylyn/Gerrit connector.

However, I identify some authoring failures yet. Basically the Review editor doesn't allow me to modify the code review state(assign reviewers, publish comments, etc). It looks like I was no authored to do so, so I can only do read-only operations like see attributes, open the compare-editor on patch set files, etc.

Have you received any issue related to this? May I be missing some other configuration bit ? (I've properly set my credentials in the Task Repository view), otherwise should I raise a bugzilla ?

Hi Adolfo,

Have you tried the latest version of the connector from Mylyn weekly update site? I've been using that for a while now and it works fine for me.

Hi I am having the same problem. I have gerrit 2.6 and eclipse juno 4.2. I updated the mylyn gerrit connector 2.1.0.

I am using openid authentication. when i click on validate button it is not forwarding to google login screen for login. Instead it is giving unable to login (screen shot attached). Any ideas why authentication is not working with openid

Eclipse.org doesn't support OpenID auth, see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=243930 for justification.
