Source code navigation inside internal web browser [message #1062714] Mon, 10 June 2013 09:13
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I'm contributor of Review Board project.
Code reviews, in their nature, have one big issue: diffs are deprived of code inspection context. You can not see the type, inheritance hierarchy or other things while reviewing code in Code Collaborator, Review Board, Crucible or other.

That is why I would like to ask about my idea. Considering each review tool will detect and mark (using appropriate HTML/XML/RDF) types, variables etc... is it possible to equip Eclipse Internal Web Browser for detecting this kind of variables and giving functionality like code navigation and so on in terms of loaded projects/target platforms/java class path etc... ?
