GridTreeViewer native LAF [message #1061772] Mon, 03 June 2013 17:18 Go to next message

I'm using the GridTreeViewer on Window 7. The tree shows +/- and lines connection between parent and children nodes. While the native OS LAF is little triangles for expand/collapse, and no parent/children lines.

I have a regular tree view side by side with the grid view, and it's looking in-consistent.

Is the Grid control not using native controls?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chauncey Xu,

Correct. Nebula widgets are drawn because there are no equivalent native controls.

Best regards,

Wim

Thanks. I was looking the cell renderers and realized that. I pulled the BranchRenderer so not to draw the lines between parent/children but will probably keep the +/- signs until I need to have custom rendering for each platform.

Please contribute back any cool stuff you make. You can file a bug and attach your code.
