Getting a little frustrated, I am trying to go through Stanford's CS106A course online and am trying to run Karel. I opened a basic collect newspaper program and end up with the window which should display karels world being blank. I re-installed the newest update for java, re-installed eclipse, restarted my computer and lowered my firewall/proxy levels. What else should I try? I really would like to get going on some of these lessons. Thanks!

We see this a lot in this forum. The Stanford Karel project is not an
Eclipse thing. We can help with specific questions about installing and
using Eclipse, but any references to the course or to what it's doing
are not topics you'll likely get help with.

Hopefully I can help out future people who have this question. The OP is probably long-gone by now.

All you have to do is copy the files from plugins and features from the old Stanford download package to your new install package. I also copied the startup.jar file to the */eclipse folder of my new version of eclipse.

I am using Eclipse Indigo Service Release 2 and after I copied everything then I saw the "Stanford" menu and the little icons that Professor Mehran Shami uses in class.
