What is the name of the command, bound to Ctrl F, in the Package Explorer?

When I go to the keybinding list in Eclipse it looks like I am getting information for Ctrl + F for components other than Package or Project explorer.

I have two copies of Eclipse. Same version. One at home, one at work. At home Ctrl F in Package Explorer brings up a text field for searching for a file. This doesn't happen at work. I'm trying to find a way to discover if Ctrl F is custom bound to something else in my work copy and then change it to the command for that file search box.

To do that, I need to know what the command is for the file search box in the Package Explorer.

My guess is that you're right: Ctrl F should bring up a text field for
searching and, at work, you've somehow got this mapped otherwise.

How do I get it unmapped. There doesn't appear to be a way to get Eclipse to tell me what Ctrl F in project explorer is bound to or what the command for that search field is called.

Tap Ctrl+Shift+L in the copy that works to see what the command is called. I think, however, you're confusing the in-editor Find (Ctrl+F) with the out-of-editor Search (Ctrl+H).

I made sure the Package Explorer was highlighted first and then pressned Ctrl Shift L.

The dialog that came up had Ctrl F listed as "find and replace", not what I am looking for.

Thanks

From Bug (Report) 408375

Quote:

The search field is only available on operating systems that support this, e.g. some Linux variants. Windows does not support this.

See bug 69200 for a generic solution in Eclipse itself.
