Has anybody any help on how to use the DE API when using
version 2.1 (either rc0 or rc1a).
When I use the design engine api as described for 2.0.1 but with version
2.1rc1a
I get an exception

SCHWERWIEGEND: Message:The extension point
[org.eclipse.birt.report.model.reportItemModel] is not found. Error
code:EXTENSION_POINT_NOT_FOUND
Ignoring the exception an reading the designfile anyway results in the
problem that most properties are lost. E.g. when I analyse a dataset the
extensionID is no longer available. The resulting designfile is then
unusable...
Could somebody point me to sourcecode where the DE API Version 2.1 is
used!?
Or maybe a hint where the above exception comes from. The documentation for
2.0.1 points out that the exception occurs when I am not using 2.0.1...
