How to sync Gef actions with toolbar? [message #156048] Thu, 28 October 2004 21:17 Go to next message

I have created a ToggleGridAction within the workbench that toggles the
grid and changes the ALPHA on some of my edit parts. What i have been
working on lately is allowing the grid to be a preference, and to
automatically display the grid on document load up. What i am having
trouble with, is how to get the ToggleGridAction button i have made to
sync with the preferences of the document. (i.e. grid preference is
selected and document shows grid on load, but the toolbar button does not
realize that the grid is on. (the button is being used as a checkbox)).

Thanks, -Matt

Put on the toolbar the same action object you put into the main menu.
