Hi, I'm having problems when I try to add an EAR project with a WEB
module to a Generic BEA Weblogic Server 8.1. I'm using WTP 1.0.
In the add and remove projects window, when I select my EAR proyect, an
error appears saying "Module type is not compatible".
It runs perfect on Tomcat v4.1 Server.
EAR project facets:
EAR 1.3
Dynamic WEB project facets:
Dynamic Web Module 2.3
Java 1.4
Any idea?
thx.

The .ear file goes well if I deploy it using weblogic server console
instead of using WTP.
The ear structure is:
..ear
...> Manifest.mf
...> application.xml
...> ProyectoWEB.war
......> Manifest.mf
......> web.xml
......> index.html

Hi Javier,
there is a post titled "WTP 1.0 No EJB Client Jar Module created" from Steve
Barrett from 2005-12-29 where somewhere deep in the thread the same problem is
mentioned:
http://www.eclipse.org/newsportal/article.php?id=9013&gr oup=eclipse.webtools#9013
I don't know wether they found a solution, so ask him either per mail or file a
new bug.
Best regards
wolfgang
