Eclipse seems to come up properly, but if I try to do anything (create a
project, change properties, etc.) with the WTP functionality I just get
error messages and nothing seems to work. I am wondering if WTP is
platform independent or if it needs a new compile for 64 bit.

If anyone else has had similar problems, I would like to hear how you
fixed them. If a 64 bit version of WTP (or one of the other packages) is
necessary, please let me know where I can get it.

I guess, you have installed a 64-Bit JSDK before, didn't you? I installed
SUSES JSDK on my AMD64 an had trouble too (SUSE 9.3). As I found out a
little bit later SUSES JDSK was 32Bit. So I replaced the JDSK with a fresh
downloaded 64-Bit JSDK from java.sun.com an everything went cool...

Brian,

If you're having trouble with WTP on a certain system we'd like to hear
about it. Please open bugs for any problems you find.
