I have been using the Sysdeo Tomcat plugin to launch Tomcat and would like
to start using a WTP Tomcat server instead.

I don't see a way to make an existing project WTP enabled. I believe after
running through a tutorial this should be a Dynamic Web project.

Can I convert it? If so how?

My current project structure is as follows:
src/java for source code
webapp
webapp/classes
webapp/lib
webapp/html
webapp/html/*.jsp
webapp/WEB-INF

Thanks for the information

There was another thread on this topic a little while ago:
http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.webtools/msg08 792.html

The information was mostly refferring to WTP 0.7 however. I'd be very
interested to know if anyone has sucessfully integrated an existing web
app with WTP 1.0 and if so how it was done. I'd like to use WTP but if
this isn't possible without guessing the proper settings for configuration
files then I'll just go back to MyEclipse.

As I remember most important was to edit manually file
your-project\.settings\.component
and fix paths
