hi

I am looking a complete list of short-cuts available in Eclipse.

e.g. in Netbean, u can do Ctrl+L or Ctrl+K to complete your word that
has been used before (for example, to auto complete a long variable name).

any advice?

Regard,
manchi

I have found out that someone actually posted this page for shortcut
some time back.
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/~checkout~/platform -ui-home/accessibility/keys.html

however, I could not find any key to auto complete my variable name.
how do I add in a new short-cut? pls help

Ctrl-Space is what you want. The feature is called "Code Assist" and can
be configured at Window > Preferences > Java > Editor > Code Assist (tab)

Also, there is a plug-in that shows a View with all defined Key
bindings. Google for "eclipse key bindings plugin" to find it, or look
at http://eclipse-plugins.2y.net

my Ctrl-space is not working.

I believe some other program is also using this ctrl-space key.

may I is there a way to change from Ctrl-space for code assist to
something else like "Ctrl-?" ?

manchi
