Views And Eclipse Icons [message #14294] Sat, 13 June 2009 04:44 Go to next message

Hello Guys,

1)
I would like all my views to have a white background like the console
view. At the moment i have added my widgets in a SashForm inside the view
but the white area covers only the width and heigth which i give to the
sashform. I would like all the area to be white and also when i drag the
edges to resize the views it must stay white.

Is there a way i can change the size of the sashform so that it covers the
view area dynamically so that i see all my tree items as well. Some of the
items are not visible unless i use the scrollbars, meanwhile there are
enough spaces around the sashform. I can increase the width and height but
how can i do that dynamically.

In short i want all my views to be like the console view.

2)
I want to use some of the toolbar icons in eclipse in m own application,
especially the "package, class, method, interface, public, private" and
others. How can i get access to these icons so that i can put them in my
icons folder and use them.

Thanks.

Regards,
Andy

As a user, I have to tell you that forcing a white background on people
who opted for other colours is a pain to them. But perhaps I failed to
get the point here.

Bye,
Mike
