Sorting of Folders and files in the Web Resources node in the Project Explorer [message #1034253] Fri, 05 April 2013 03:53 Go to next message

The project explorer sorts the children of folders (at least in the web resources node) by name and mixes files and folders. the result looks like this:

webapp\web-inf\
a.xml
b (folder)
c.xml
d (folder)

is it possible to configure the project explorer not to do this?

this post recommends using the package explorer, but i WANT to use the project explorer because i like the "magic" folders for spring-beans or deployed resources. the package explorer does not have those.

Hi,

at the bottom, there's the solution to make it work in project explorer, you just need to remove "Ressources" in "Customize View"/"Content"
