Palette Tab not showing [message #151508] Thu, 06 April 2006 11:18 Go to next message

I've installed birt and started the tutorial. I noticed that I don't have
the palette tab and can't find where to turn it on. Did I miss something
during the install? Any help would be appreciated.

Barry,

Look at the window->show view->other->basic->palette.
If you just installed it should be there by default. What version did you
install?

Barry,

Are you using the BIRT_ALL_IN_ONE?

If you Windows -> Open Perspective -> Other do you see Business
Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) as an option?

What version of Eclipse are you using ?

Often this type of problem is related to not having the appropriate
versions GEF and EMF (see the download page)

I found the palette. It's on the far right as a fly-out panel.
